Rose of Tralee scarf
Scarf is shown in cashmere, but would work equally well in a sensual wool or other natural fiber of the appropriate weight and with a slight halo.
This elegant scarf has a lovely, floral lace design going up both sides to meet at the center back (which is ribbed to hug the neck). A lacy trellis borders either side of this gorgeous scarf that is knit in two-halves and joined in the center. The directions are both charted and row-by-row.
This is my April design for The Brigid Collection -- a special collection of patterns for the 2012 knitting year. Named for my 2012 patron saint, St. Brigid of Kildare, this collection will be a celebration of Irish hand-knits. Each month, on or around the 15th of the month, I will post a new Celtic-inspired design with this logo … some will be classic cable-knit styles, some will be knitted Irish lace, and some will be colorwork inspired by the Emerald Isle.
Directions are both charted and row-by-row.
