Climbing Roses are beautiful along a trellis, or disguising a fence along a cottage. This pattern was inspired by walking through a rose garden and carefully following the rose’s stems as they intertwine with one another. This is a simple cowl that creates a dense fabric providing just enough warmth for those summer evenings, strolling through the rose garden. This is the perfect accent for any outfit.
FINISHED SIZE:
14” x 8”
NOTIONS: (1) Stitch marker to mark beginning of the round.
(7) stitch markers (optional) to place in between pattern repeats.
A tapestry needle for weaving in the ends.
PATTERN STYLE: The pattern contains written as well as chart instructions. There is a key and full abbreviation list included as well.
DIFFICULTY: Advanced Beginner. It’s a good project to learn for beginning lace that repeats.
YARN: This pattern was designed for yarn with a subtle variegation. Certainly a solid or tonal yarn will show off the pattern beautifully as well.
NOTE: This pattern is written in the round but absolutely could be worked flat and seamed when completed.
