Rosebay
This pattern can be found in issue 8 of Laine Magazine.
The Rosebay wrap is named for a flower native to the Northern Hemisphere. It incorporates two classic spring stitch patterns: Miniature Leaf and Branched Fern – their sinuous panels bordered by elegant columns of modified wishbone cables. The worsted-spun wool knitted on size US 4 / 3.5 mm circulars creates a fabric that is light and airy, with a gorgeous drape. The sweet lace motifs, combined with the warmth of the wool makes this the piece you will reach for when there’s still a chill in the air, but you are yearning for the lush, vernal greenery and tiny pale blooms of spring.
