Rosebud Blouse
Design: Camilla Ette Gotfredsen, DesignEtte.dk

The idea for this design started with the ”Rosebud Poncho” which is worked in a much bulkier yarn. I made a swatch of the same stitch pattern, but in the much lighter, naturally dyed Naturino yarn. The look and feel was entirely different from that of the poncho, and much more feminine – so soft, it could easily be taken for knitting. The silhouette of the design is inspired by the fashion silhouette and tailoring of the early 20th century. The pearl collar, which is originally from the same time period, is back in fashion as a highly trendy accessory.
The Rosebud Blouse is worked in crochet with knitted sleeve cuffs.
