Butte Montmartre
Design: Camilla Ette Gotfredsen, DesignEtte.dk

At the foot of the Sacré-Coeur cathedral in Paris lies Butte Montmartre. Here a small boutique offered interesting confectioned knitwear in many different variations of shiny textures. The look inspired me to create this design with Swarovski beads knitted into the open stitch structure, worked in lovely, naturally dyed 100 % wool.

Yarn: DesignEtte Naturino, 100 % wool, naturally dyed, ca. 250 (350) 400g
Extras: DesignEtte beads 252/1 (324/2) 396/2 pcs./pck
Needles: 3 and 3½mm straight and 3mm/60cm circular needles
Size: Small/medium (large/X-large) 2X-large/3X-large
Finished measurements
Bust: 140 (180) 220cm
Length: 54,5 (58,5) 64cm
Tension: 18 sts and 36 rows worked in pattern on 3½mm needles = 10 x 10cm
27,5 sts and 34 rows in K1, P1 rib = 10 X 10cm

The body is worked sideways in one piece, making the pattern of elongated stitches appear vertically. The ribbed sleeves are then worked directly onto the body.
