Rosebud Scarf
Pattern Description from Scarf Style: “Sasha Kagan is well known for the use of floral motifs in her knitwear designs. The rose, with its connotations of love, has been a continuing theme in her work, and here the motifs she uses are reminiscent of Mid-European folk embroidery. She centered a large, detailed, single rose in the pointed ends of her scarf and surrounded it with delicate sprigs. The central portion of the scarf is textured in a subtle diagonal pattern for interest, and the scarf is finished with a crocheted edge. The warm rose colors on a tweedy black background and a deep, colorful fringe give her scarf a Spanish feel, like something a flamenco dancer might toss - with an artful flourish - about her neck.”
