DESCRIPTION
Makes for a chunky textured cardigan, almost seamless (only the shoulders are seamed together at the top). Made with 2-4 inches of positive ease in mind.

The Rosemary Cardigan is worked from the bottom up. The back and the two front pieces are worked back and forth until we reach the underarm. Then, the two front pieces are worked back and forth onto the body, same thing for the back. After that, the shoulders are seamed and the sleeves are worked directly onto the armholes, in joined rounds. Finally, the button band is worked back and forth on the side of the body and front pieces rows. This pattern is written in six sizes – XS (S, M, L, XL)(2X, 3X, 4X, 5X). Model pictured is wearing size M and is 5’9”, 145 pounds and has a bust of 36” in circumference, for reference.

DIFFICULTY

You will need to know how to single crochet, how to decrease in single crochet and how to work in the front loop.

MATERIALS
• Size 9 mm/US M-13 crochet hook, or hook needed to obtain gauge
• Approx. 620(680, 720, 800, 840)(910, 950, 1020, 1070) yards of bulky weight/category 5 yarn, I used Hue+Me in Agave and Juniper from Lion Brand.
