Rosette and Beads Necklace
This tutorial is a year old.
I made it as a part of my handmade Christmas gifts series.
To make this necklace you need a crochet rosette (pattern given below – sport yarn / 1.9mm hook), different sizes of beads - both crochet covered and bare. Different shapes of beads also make the necklace more playful so try this and experiment. I used round and oblong beads which I crocheted over and also some small wooden beads as stoppers for effect. If you don’t have wooden (plastic) beads, you can always make some yourself.
I crocheted a tie onto which I strung the beads. You can also use a wax string or a sateen ribbon for an even more luxurious look, but you have to make sure it can slip through the beads.
I have a tutorial for that here: https://thelittletreasures.blogspot.com/2011/08/how-to-ma...
Stitches used in American terminology: chain (ch), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc).
