Rosings Grove
Rosings Grove is the first shawl from the Walking with Elizabeth Collection, a collection of three shawls designed for Elizabeth Bennet of the Pride and Prejudice book by Jane Austen.
Rosings Grove is inspired by that early morning walk Elizabeth takes in the grove, at Rosings Park, the morning after Mr Darcy has proposed.
The Walking with Elizabeth collection is a collaboration with Eden Cottage Yarns
Yarn:
Eden Cottage Yarns Millburn 4ply 85% Bluefaced Leicester, 15% Silk Yarn
MC 436yds/400m
CC 436yds/400m
(Sample was knit in the Natural colourway for MC and the Black Tulip colourway for the CC)
Needle and Gauge:
3.5mm US size 4 needles
Sample was worked at a gauge of 26 sts and 32 rows = 4” 10cm stockinette stitch using 3.5mm needles (blocked).
Please be aware any changes in gauge may affect your yardage and finished size.
