This pattern was also available as part of Crescendo Book: an Eco-friendly e-book with 5 shawl designs.

Rosiris is a seamless shawl knitted bottom-up with a flower stitch flowing from the edging to shawl’s upper body which is also worked in lace - small flowers grow from the main pattern.
Wrong side rows are purled and the right side combines purls, knits, cables and eyelets, adding an interesting texture to this graceful and feminine knit that can be easily customizable by casting on more or less sts and/or adding or subtracting pattern repeats. Its crescent shape is made with simple decreases instead of short-rows.

Materials: 410.3 – 471.8 m (448 – 515.2 yds) of fingering yarn - I used 350 m (382 yds) of Drops Delight and 60.3 m (66 yds) of Malabrigo sock in a total of 410.3 m (448 yds) of fingering weight yarn. (I ran out of Drops Delight yarn and thought that Malabrigo ochre would work well, however pattern is written for one color). I’d suggest yarn with at least 60% wool content.
You also need: cable needle, a tapestry needle; 1 or 25 markers (if you place them between repeats – which is optional), pins or wires for blocking.

Difficulty: Intermediate – intermediate lace skills are required, knitted cast on, knit, purl, yarn overs, single and double decreases (Ssk, K2tog, S2kp), cables (Cr4F, Cr4B), slip st (Sl1wyif), firmer bind-off (explained in the pattern), weave in ends, wet-blocking.

Pattern Style: Full – text and charts. I provide some links as well.
