Knitted in a gorgeous aran weight blend of Argentinian merino and Peruvian highland wool, this scarf embraces the need for warmth, comfort and homeliness.

The textured stitch is easy to memorise and the piece grows quickly from the front point. Increasing at the end of every right side row, the pattern includes instructions to keep the edges neat and how to adjust the size if required.

To make sure that the scarf fits well around the shoulders, the top is shaped with invisible short rows while the classic single rib edging provides stability and adds chic interest.

This shawlette would work well in almost any weight yarn if the needle size is appropriately adjusted, meaning that the design can be a year-round favourite stashbusting design.
