This mosaic crochet pattern is an advanced skill level and is recommended for crocheters with experience in mosaic overlay crochet. OPTIONAL PERSONALIZATION

Size will vary depending on yarn weight and hook.
This calculation was based on Stylecraft Special DK yarn and hook size of 3.75mm. Gauge: 5 stitched and 5 rows=1 inch

YARN:
It is important for Color A to be the dark color due to the use of shadow in this design.
Color A (Dark, Design/Face/Paw prints) –1189 yds
Color B (Light, Background) –1526 yds
2” Double Border –627 yds

Note - this pattern is written for 2 colors only. One of the images shows 3 colors. using the tapestry color change technique. You will have to use the chart to color-plan yourself if you wish to use more than 2.

This pattern is divided into 6 sections (4 pages each) and is worked from the bottom up. I would suggest using the Knit Companion app (my personal preference as it is brilliant and saves on printer ink and paper), but I have also included layout instructions for the charts if you prefer to print out your pages. The written pattern sections correlate with the charts so they can be used together. I have added a full chart on one page for those who wish to use Knit Companion (or similar technology) without all the page breaks.
