Round Rug
Gauge is not important: Your rug can be a little larger or smaller without changing the overall effect.
Wash, dry, and press fabrics. Cut off selvages; then tear or cut fabric into 1 1/2” wide strips along the longest direction of fabric. For quick results a rotary cutter and mat may be used to cut several layers of fabric at one time.
When the color is different on right and wrong sides of the fabric, fold the fabric strip in half as you crochet so the preferred color will show. If the fabric is the same color intensity on both sides, folding is not necessary.
A #13 needlepoint needle is also needed.
