This sweet jacket is very close to my heart as I’v designed it for my new grandchild due in December.  For a little girlie the buttonholes just need to be on the other side for which there are instructions. It’s a soft shade of grey in cosy pure merino wool for those chilly days ahead. I love garter stitch as it’s simple, modern yet classic at the same time so this will make a lovely heirloom jacket to pass down.
It’s knit flat on 2 needles and seamed although the sleeves are knitted from the top down after picking up sts either side of the shoulder.
