Royal PomTassel
I love accessories and I love accessories for accessories! So, I came up with the designs for 3 Royal PomTassel styles. I named them Royal simply because they all are precious and deserve a little crown (just kidding!). The idea behind these was to utilize a big portion of my precious leftovers, those small yarn balls that are remnants of the projects that I’ve worked on and loved. Each PomTassel style has a video tutorial that you can find on Alexandra Davidoff Studio YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOWH0hf1fFcB_nVpTrnDMXA

When creating these little accessories, think of my directions as merely guidelines. You can modify, add or subtract, coming up with your own unique Royal PomTassels. You can use different combinations of weight and texture of the yarns and beads, but for the purpose of this pattern I recommend the following: ANY fingering weight yarn to use for tassels, I-Cords and wooden bead covering. For pompoms I also recommend fingering weight yarn, but try to avoid pure silk, cotton and linens - it is very hard to make a lush, full bodied pompom out of those fibers. I love to add different textures, so I recommend Miyuki glass beads, size 6/0 and a focal point bead or a charm to use in each Royal PomTassel style. All three styles follow the same principle - they are built starting from the bottom to the top.
