Rubato pullover is knitted seamlessly top down with a relaxed, boyfriend-sweater fit. The cable pattern is worked on the front and the back as well as on the sleeves.

The pullover is started at the back neck and increased to the full width of the back. After the stitches are picked up for the shoulders and worked as the front of the pullover.
The front and the back are joined at the underarm and the body is worked in the round in half fisherman’s rib and cable pattern.
Stitches are then picked up from the body for the sleeves and the neckband. The sleeves are worked in the cable pattern and half fisherman’s rib. The neckband is worked in 1x1 ribbing.

The length of the body and sleeves are easily modified to suit your own body measurements.

Gauge
20 sts x 40 rounds = 10 cm /4 ‘’ in half fisherman’s rib in the round on larger needles, after blocking.

Needles
• 4 mm US 6 circular needles for the body and sleeves.
• 2,75 mm US 2 circular needles for ribbing hem and cuffs.

Always use the needle size that gives you the right gauge! Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Rubato se tricote du haut vers le bas (top-down) sans couture.

On commence par tricoter le dos en réalisant dans un premier temps un grand nombre d’augmentations. Les mailles sont ensuite relevées le long de chaque ligne d’épaule pour former les devants de l’ouvrage. Dos et devant sont assemblés puis tricotés en circulaire tout en poursuivant un temps le motif de torsade.

Les mailles des manches sont relevées puis tricotées ensuite en circulaire en demi-côtes anglaises, une torsade se dessine sur toute la longueur de la manche.
L’ensemble des finitions de l’encolure, du corps et des manches se font en côtes torses bordées par un ourlet double.

Vous pouvez aisément modifier les longueurs du corps et des manches pour qu’il vous convienne au mieux.
