Hello World! Meet Ruby the Robot. She is more than just metal, wires and processors… this snuggle robot wears her heart proudly on her chest for all the world to see how lovable she is.

She can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.

My Robot is made in Vanna’s Choice Solids using four colors:

• Color 1: Silver Grey (170 yards)
• Color 2: Aquamarine (30 yards)
• Color 3: Rose Shocking (15 yards)
• Color 4: Peacock (5 yards)

Ruby is an Intermediate-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, increases, decreases, color changes single crochet into the bottom of a foundation chain, crocheting two round together and some seaming. Included is a photo tutorial on how create child-safe eyes from felt, although instructions for using plastic safety eyes are given as well.
