The mitts might look like stranded knitting (and could be!), but in this case, the mosaic knitting technique was used to make knitting easier and more fun! The benefit is that you carry just one colour at a time, and the pattern is absolutely jogless due to slipped stitches.

The mitts are knitted in rounds, in mosaic knitting. The width and length can be easily adjusted, working more or fewer repeats/motifs. The pattern uses metric and imperial systems. The mosaic pattern is fully charted and written out, including the gusset.

The yarns used for the sample (size M):
West Wool Bicycle, Fingering / 4 ply, 100% Merino, 50 g / 1.76 oz = 175 m / 191 yards.

Please pay attention to the yarn used; it is listed as fingering/4 ply. However, considering the yardage and how it knits up, I recommend using a heavy fingering or a sport-weight yarn.
