Notes From the Designer, CheVon Bell:
•Rudaba is the name of a princess from Persian mythology. She is said to have lowered her tresses to allow for her lover to climb up to her. The cable that runs down the spine of Rudaba is reminiscent of a braid.
•It’s worked like a triangle shawl, but its center is six stitches wide rather than the traditional 1-3 of a typical triangle shawl. It is worked with a slightly modified garter tab cast on.
•Watch a video of this pattern here to learn how to work the modified garter tab cast on and the stitches of the body.
