Ruffled socks are a variation of my simple ribbed socks pattern, a basic sock knitting pattern, with a table for all sizes from baby to adult, accompanied by industry standard sizing. Ruffles are knit on at the end, after finishing the sock.

These socks are knitted cuff-down. There is also a description for all three types of heels: afterthought, short row and flap heel. Links to educational videos are provided in the pattern.

Basically, this is a sock pattern that is a compilation of everything I’d learned while learning how to knit socks cuff-down and an invaluable resource for a sock knitter of any level and a hand knit sock designer. Enjoy!
