This is a ridiculously simple pattern that can worked at any time your eyes and hands are more creatively engaged. It also has enough knitting to take you through a very long car trip or a marathon showing of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, director’s cut. Finished it makes a lovely falling ruffle under the collar of a coat or jacket.

Any fingering weight yarn can be used, and the pattern can be easily changed to accommodate your yarn or your patience.
