Make a wonderful accessory for all seasons with this pattern. A mesh shawl with a wide ruffled edging can be worn so many ways around your neck, like a traditional shawl, and even around your waist! Using a gorgeous soft alpaca laceweight yarn, you crochet the base chain, work the mesh down to the point, and crochet the ruffle in rows. Add a simple edging row and a beautiful wild rose applique with 2 leaves to the point. Light and comfortable and so soft, it’s just beautiful and will make an heirloom! Think how lovely it would be for a wedding. Finished measurements: 48 in. at widest point, 22 in. from neck to tip. Skill level: intermediate but using very fine yarn. Written in standard American terms.
