This is a stocking stitch jumper/pullover with 2.5 cm of ribbing at sleeve and body edges. There is the option of either a round neck or polo collar.

The jumper pattern has instructions for both lady and mens versions. The leaflet also has a pattern for a matching jacket.

There are three ladies sizes: Australian size 8 (75 cm chest, 30 inch); 10-12 (80-85 cm, 32-34 inches); 14-16 (90-95 cm, 36-38 inches).

There are three mens sizes: size 14 (90 cm, 36 inches); size 16-18 (95-100 cm, 38-40 inches); size 20-22 (105-110 cm, 42-44 inches).

As written the jumper has approximately 23 cm of ease around the chest for bothe mens and ladies. It ranges from 76-78 cm in length for the ladies and 67-69 for the mens. Ladies sleeve length is 43 cm or length desired. Mens is 48 cm or length desired

The Pattern notes that “these garments are designed to be generous in keeping with todays fashion”. Pattern dates from mid 90s.

It is classified by Patons as an easy knit.

Patons 8 ply Machinewash, the quatities of yarn should be the same.
Patons Alpaca Classique 8 ply, Patons Forest 8 ply, Patons Moorland 8 ply, Patons Pure Spun 8 ply or Patons Fireside 8 ply you may need 1 or 2 extra balls and your garment could be slightly larger. We recommend using smaller needles for rib bands.
Patons Winter Mist 8 ply, Patons Wool Rich Brocade 8 ply or Patons Wool Rich Chambray 8 ply, you may need 1 or 2 balls less and your garment could be slightly larger. We recommend using smaller needles for rib band.
Patons Supersaver 8 ply or Patons Tasman 8 ply, you will require 1 (100g) ballfor every 3 (50g) balls. We recommend using smaller needles for rib bands.
