Running Strong Hat
$1.00 from the sale of each pattern will go to a fund to be established for a permanent Marathon Memorial. Should this fund not materialize in some form, proceeds will go to One Fund Boston thru April of 2014.
The Boston Marathon is forever changed, but many of the changes will make it stronger. This hat is dedicated to all marathoners, from Boston to New York to London, who are now all running for each other, as one. They are all RUNNING STRONG and each one deserves to be crowned with the Laurel Wreath of the Champion. Inspired by Dr. David King, a surgeon who ran the marathon, then ran to the hospital to treat the injured. This cap gives the wreath to all who wear it.
Choose between a close fitting Skull Cap
or a taller Slouchy Hat, the difference is in the decrease. Just be sure to work the decrease section for the height hat desired.
Skull Cap is pictured in photo.
One dollar from the sale of each hat pattern will go to a fund for a
permanent memorial for the marathon victims of 4/15/13.
