This effortless top is set to become a Summer wardrobe favourite!

Knitted in the round from the bottom upwards using Midwinter Yarn’s gorgeous light fingering weight Lithuanian linen, the shoulders are joined using a 3-needle bind-off and the cap sleeves are then picked-up and knitted downwards to the delicate moss stitch border. The bands of colour are separated with a pretty eyelet detail which enhances the sheerness of the fabric.

Easy to style over a vest top with jeans or shorts, or layered with a dress as shown, the pattern can easily be lengthened by working an additional stripe before commencing the armhole shaping to create a tunic type garment - what a fabulous cover-up for the beach!
