Originally designed for the Fibre Space Indie Indulgence club, the Rusty Nail cardigan is inspired by my favorite drink (which also happens to be the name of the colorway), the colors of the city, my love of all things old and industrial, and the cardigans old men wear when they play chess in the park. Or feed the pigeons.

The body of the cardigan is worked in one piece to the armholes, at which point the fronts and back are worked separately. The sleeves are worked in the round to the sleeve caps, at which point they are worked flat. The cardigan has saddle shoulders (adding to that old man appeal). It includes waist shaping, and is intended to fit with no ease to 1-2 inches of positive ease.

The sample is the 34-inch bust size, and is being worn by a model with a 32-inch bust.
