Ryoanji Skirt
CONSTRUCTION
The skirt is worked from the top down, making it very easy to adjust the length. After the folded edge at the waist, Japanese short rows are worked to make the back of the skirt longer, providing a better fit. The skirt has beautiful rib details created by working increases and staggering the rib.
Please note that the measurements given in the pattern are for the finished skirt. The skirt is made to be close fitting and it is designed to have 1½-2¼” / 4-6 cm of negative ease, meaning it is designed to be 1½-2¼” / 4-6 cm smaller than your body measurements.
