It looks like leather at first glance, but it’s actually a cotton yarn, Catania Denim, worked in spiral rounds and single crochet stitches to create this casual round bag. Working with double strands adds stability, and the strap is crocheted as a tube in spiral rounds.

After sewing together the separate parts, you can add a “Wild West” look to the bag with pretty tassels.

The finished bag (without strap) has a height of approx. 24 cm/9.4 in. and a width of 24 cm/9.4 in.
