Colourful sweater inspired by the wonderful colours and patterns found at the Otavalo Craft Market in Ecuador.

The sweater is worked top down, with raglan shaping beginning with the neckband before shaping the neck using short rows. The waist is slightly shaped. The body is relatively short and the sleeves are full length, but both can easily be adjusted to your taste.

Gauge
Single coloured stocking stitch: 24 sts and 34 rounds to 10 cm (4 inches) on 3 mm (US 2 ½) needles.
Stranded colourwork: 24 sts and 34 rounds to 10 cm (4 inches) on 3.5 mm (US 4) needles.

Suggested yarn
Using Malsen og mor Shetland soft or Karmin supersoft (280 m per 50 g) you get a lightweight jumper. For a slightly thicker fabric I suggest Jamieson & Smith 2ply Jumper Weight (114 m per 25 g) or Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift (105 m per 25 g)
