Market bags have been enjoying a strong resurgence in popularity. Here’s a fresh take on this classic style just in time for reopening farmers’ markets. Leverett’s lovely color palette and cotton-linen blend are ideal for stranded colorwork. A long cross-body shoulder strap and a secret inside pocket add to the practicality and usefulness of this bag. Sagitta is knit in the round from the center to the outer edge to create the base. The stranded colorwork pattern is worked in the round as the body of the bag grows vertically. The colorwork pattern is in chart form only.
