Influenced by Japanese stitch dictionaries, these socks use twisted stitches and bobbles to provide more texture to the pattern. Sakura is the Japanese word for cherry blossom.

DESIGNER NOTE: Socks are knit top-down on two circular needles (or one long circular needle), with a patterned heel flap and square (Dutch) heel. Due to the nature of the stitch pattern, double-pointed needles are not recommended. They can be used but will require moving stitches back and forth between needles to complete traveling stitch designs.
