This is a symmetrical triangle shawl, designed in collaboration with Botanical Yarn in their wonderful non superwash merino fingering yarn.

The name was conceived from the Salvia plant which is used as a medicinal balm and the Manx (Isle of Man) spelling of the work solace which means comfort.

The pattern combines two contrast yarn colours across three different patterned sections to create a knit that is at the same time interesting and comforting.
