Salzburg shawl is a wide rectangle shawl. It is easy to knit shawl with wide rib edging. The original shawl was worked by using 3 different colors.

This shawl can be knitted with different weights of yarn - from lace to dk, but the yarn decision has an effect on gauge, size and yardage.

GARMENT MEASUREMENTS
170 cm wide and 50 cm high.

YARN
3 skeins of Fingering weight yarn, 100g ~ 400m.

NEEDLES
4mm circular needle, 100cm long.

TENSION
21 sts x 32 rows = 10cm of Stockinette stitch

Salzburg on suorakaiteen mallinen leveä huivi. Mallin oppii helposti ja työ etenee joutuisasti. Reunusta koristaa leveä joustinkaitale. Alkuperäinen huivi on neulottu käyttäen hyväksi saman langan kolmea eri sävyä.

Neuletiheydellä ei ole niin väliä, mutta se vaikuttaa huivin kokoon ja langan menekkiin.
