Samba Shawl
I have seen Samba dancers wearing kerchiefs folded on the bias around their hips. The bias fabric hugs close to the body while dancing. Hence the name “Samba” for this comfortable sideways triangular shawl. The garter stitch fabric is knitted in two-row stripes with a slipped edge selvage making it an ideal project to learn this technique. It also gives it a professional finish.
Difficulty: Easy. Suitable for a confident beginner.
