Named after the Nike of Samothrace statue, my all time favorite work of art. While designing this piece I kept seeing architectural columns in the design elements, but when I went searching for the perfect Greek or Roman temple to name it after, I came up empty handed….until I saw my favorite “Winged Victory” again. The drape of her clothing is similar to that of the infinity cowl, so the name stuck.

I love an infinity scarf, but often get too warm in them when wearing them inside. This one is designed to keep you warm, but let your neck breathe with the somewhat open stitch pattern.

This piece knits up very quickly in either the long or short style. Knit in the round with a 2 row repeat, it’s simple but interesting. Takes one skein of malabrigo, depending on your needle size. This can be varied based on your gauge and desired effect.
