Editor’s note: Larger needle is used for headband; smaller needle is used for flower.
Stated gauge is for version 1 (it is actually stated as 16 stitches & 17 rows = 3 inches in 2x2 ribbing on US #8 with two strands held together).
Version 2 gauge: 14 stitches & 13 rows = 3 inches in 2x2 ribbing on US #8 with 2 strands of yarn held together.
Crochet hook is used in version 2.
