This summer scarf pattern is a fun, quick knit which can also be worn as a small shawl.

The border pattern is an easy stitch perfectly suited for highly verigated yarns. The body of the scarf is a simple straight stitch worked in a crescent shape by the use of short rows.

I used 1 skein of the Koigu KPPPM (verigated) and a little less than 2 skeins of the Koigu KPM. I worked back and forth on a 24” circular needle, but a longer length would easily work as well.

To knit this scarf you should be comfortable with the following:
Knit
Purl
Yarn Over
Short rows

I hope you enjoy knitting and wearing the San Francisco Summer Scarf. Please let me know if you have any questions.
