Beaded scallops float across one edge of this side-to-side project that works up quickly with an easily memorized four row repeat. Gradual increases and decreases yield an elongated, slightly asymmetrical crescent shape, and the lacy stitch pattern is pretty enough to be reversible.

Finished Size 70” long and 11” wide at center.
Yarn Universal Yarn Cotton Supreme DK Seaspray (100% cotton): #310 brindle, 2 hanks.
Hook Size H/8 (5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions Size 6/0 beads, about 300 (Miyuki #275 Peach Lined Crystal AB used in project); beading needle with eye that will fit yarn or sewing needle and short length of thread; yarn needle.
Gauge 6 sc V-sts and 11 rows in patt = 4”.
