This pattern is my love letter to the Sanderson Sisters, and the ultimate Hocus Pocus inspired sock collection.

I have included 9 unique and original charts in the pattern: Three different toe motifs, three different arch motifs and three different cuff motifs. Stay true to your favourite witch or mix and match charts for your own custom socks!

These socks are constructed from the toe-up, with a gusset and heel flap heel. I’ve included 3 adult sizes, and the stranded colourwork motifs are in chart format.

Skills Required
Judy’s Magic Cast-on, working in the round, knit, purl, wrap and turn short rows, increasing, decreasing, stranded colourwork knitting, bind off using a stretchy method.

Materials
Sample Yarn Used:

‘Winifred’ sample in: Onyx (charcoal), Eat This (orange), Doom (purple), Sugar Shack (yellow)
‘Mary’ sample in: Onyx (charcoal), Fembots (pink), Eat This (orange), Sugar Shack (yellow)
‘Sarah’ sample in: Onyx (charcoal), Sour Apple (green), Sugar Shack (yellow), Doom (purple)

Yardage: 1 x 50g/174yds Bitesize Mini skein (MC) and 3 x 25g/93yds Minisnaps.

You will need a 50g skein of a main colour and 3 x 20g mini skeins in different contrast colours. Fingering weight sock yarn. This is enough yardage for even the largest size

Suggested Needles:
2.5mm/US 1.5, 80cm/32” length for magic loop for the stockinette stitch section OR size(s) needed to obtain gauge.

2.75/US 2, 80cm/32” length for magic loop for the stranded colourwork section OR size(s) needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 32sts and 44 rnds/10cm or 4”, in the round, in stockinette stitch AND
32sts and 40 rnds/10cm or 4”, in the round, in stranded colourwork.
