A Resource Raglan Sample

This pattern was made from the Resource Raglan framework, a comprehensive guide top-down raglan pattern with lots of customisations and modifications. This pattern is complete on it’s own and does not require anything else to be followed.

All Resource Raglan sweaters are compound raglans.

ABOUT
Sandstone Sweater, whose name emerges from the unique appearance created by the striping technique used in this pattern, is a cozy cloud of a sweater. By using fingering weight yarn held double with lace weight, this sweater is worked at a typical DK gauge. The balloon bracelet-length sleeves and I-Cord hem means there is no ribbing in this pattern. This sweater was created in partnership with Ali of Explorer Knits + Fibers, using her Leave No Trace collection of one-of-a-kind skeins.

EASE
This sweater can fit however you like! I knit the sample to fit the intended wearer with 4 - 6 inches of positive ease. When selecting a size, I would encourage you to think about how you like things to fit your own body. If you like a closer-fitting garment, choose a Finished Chest Circumference with 2 - 4 inches of positive ease. If you like a looser-fitting garment, choose a Finished Chest Circumference with 8 - 10 inches of positive ease, or more!

SUGGESTED NEEDLES

MAIN FABRIC: 4.5mm circular needles, 32 inches / 80 cm or longer.

RIBBING: 3.5mm circular needles, 32 inches / 80 cm or longer.
