This pattern features a special kind of chain increase.

“Sanft” can be translated by ‘gentle’, ‘soft’ or ‘mild’. The long, gentle color change of Zitron Infinito is perfect for this jacket. It is worked in one piece, staring with a top down yoke, then bottom and sleeves are worked across. This way, the right side is a touch lighter than the left side.
The jacket is worked with front loop only slip stitches. They make it soft and a little elastic.

Die Anleitung ist Teil von My Year of Techniques 2019, wofür ich mir jeden Monat eine neue Technik ausdenke.

Bei dieser Jacke gibt es eine spezielle Zunahmeart mit Luftmaschen.

Lange Farbverlaufsgarne mag ich sehr. Infinito von Zitron hat einen besonders langen und sanften Farbverlauf, pro Strang einmal von dunkel nach hell. Die Konstruktion dieser Jacke betont den Farbverlauf. Sie wird in einem Stück gehäkelt, erst von oben nach unten, dann quer, so dass die rechte Seite einen Hauch heller ist als die linke.
Die Jacke wird komplett aus vorn eingestochenen Kettmaschen gehäkelt. Das ergibt eine weiche, leicht elastische Struktur.
