Sangatsu means month of March in Japanese and this shawl is named such because it is supposed to be released on the March of 2016.

This is another shawl design of mine that requires intermediate level of lace knitting skill and its size can be customized and modified to much larger as you desire.

I used approximately 600yard of fingering weight yarn to make a medium size of Sangatsu. The final step of the aggressive blocking plays an vital role as it really stretches out the lace pattern nicely.
I think this shawl can be made in a heavier laceweight yarn and the outcome will be equally satisfying.
