Sanquhar patterns are typically knit in two colors - often black and white – although I’ve chosen the red and pink colors for a more contemporary look. The scarf is knit in the round as a tube, and as only two colors are used on any round it makes for a relatively simple, yet interesting project. The scarf is finished by blocking the piece flat and then sewing each of the ends closed.

Yarn requirements:
Valley Yarns HUNTINGTON (75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon; 218yds/50g skeins);
2 skeins of #0055 Summer Rose (Color A) and 3 skeins of #4150 Red (Color B)
Note: If you choose a different fingering weight yarn, you will need approximately 95g of Color A and 130g of Color B.
