From any panoramic point in Naples, you can see the church of Santa Chiara with its huge, greenish roof in the middle of the other buildings. Inside you can hardly hear the city’s typical noise, the place is filled with peace. The garden inside the complex is gorgeous, leaving the visitor amazed. Imagine the old lines of ceramic columns, all decoratively painted, the orange trees full of mature fruits. The benches along the paths, also covered with mosaics and painted tiles.

This triangular shawl takes its inspiration from the colors and tiles in the garden of Santa Chiara. The shawl edge is shaped for easier wearing. Simple shaping and mosaic knitting make this shawl suitable for less experienced shawl knitters but it’s also a relaxing knit for those more experienced ones. Mosaic stitch gives interest to the shawl, and it’s an easy way to create colorwork as it uses only 1 color per row! Choose 3 colors with good contrast for best result.
