This dapper little doggy is oh so festive in their striped sweater, scarf and Santa hat. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the dog is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). A crochet hook is used to add tassels to the dog’s scarf.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, a crochet hook (for attaching tassels to the scarf), domed buttons for eyes, and a toy safety nose.

SIZES
One size only - 22cm long.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
