Santa's Slippers
If Santa wore slippers, maybe he’d love these ones in worsted weight yarn to keep his feet toasty on the coldest of days. They are worked with an all-over 1/1 cable pattern and the modular construction method adds interest to the knitting.
The slippers are knit in modules that are joined while knitting. Some parts of the pattern (the cuff, the instep and the sole) are worked flat, some parts of the pattern (cuff extension and foot) are worked in the round.
The cuff is worked sideways. It is a decorative cuff and has a rather loose fit compared to the other parts of the slippers.
