These socks were designed as a prize for “Lace” category of “Sock Challenge Cup” contest.
They are knitted cuff-down with gusseted plain heel adapted from the “Encyclopedia of Needlework” by Thérèse de Dillmont and with toe based on this plain heel.
Techniques Used:
- Magic Loop
- following charts
- double-start cast-on, provisional cast-on (any)
- knitting through back loop, basic lace knitting
- Tricorner
- grafting
Sarang means “peacock” in Sanskrit.
