These socks were designed as a prize for “Lace” category of “Sock Challenge Cup” contest.
They are knitted cuff-down with gusseted plain heel adapted from the “Encyclopedia of Needlework” by Thérèse de Dillmont and with toe based on this plain heel.

Techniques Used:

• Magic Loop
• following charts
• double-start cast-on, provisional cast-on (any)
• knitting through back loop, basic lace knitting
• Tricorner
• grafting

Sarang means “peacock” in Sanskrit.
