Sarcasm harnesses the power of ugly pooling yarn to create a stripe effect that zig zags across the different sections of the shawl. Use the swatching instructions included to test how your yarn will pool, how your yarns look together, and to practice the k2tog join. You won’t need short rows, intarsia, or stranded colorwork techniques for your Sarcasm Shawl but you will need to weave in a “few” ends.

Sarcasm was originally published in my mini collection in Knitscene Accessories 2015. Both versions of the pattern will create the same finished object but the layout and wording differs slightly. Sarcasm is only available as a written pattern and is not charted though a coloring page is included.
