Sariah Scarf
This is a long scarf designed during the Colourmart scrap set challenge that was held during the Ravellenic games. I wanted a design that would show of the wonderful colours in the scrap set and be feminine and pretty.
It uses 5 different colours but could easily be made with 3 colours or even a single colour throughout. It is long enough to wrap around the neck twice and still leave the ends hanging free, or just drape it around your neck as a decorative item.
The scarf can be easily modified to make it shorter for a child or for yourself if you don’t want it quite so long. There are instructions included in the pattern for doing this.
It uses 8/28NM dk weight cashmere cotton from Colourmart approximately 70mts/80yds each of 4 colours and 100mts/120yds of 1 colour, or 400mts/440yds in total.
It has been tested by the wonderful testers in the Happy Hookers Hangout.
I am always available via PM or email for comments and questions.
