Sassy Semiramis
This pattern is available in English, Danish and Norwegian.
Sassy Semiramis begins like a half-circle Pi shawl, but is then divided into 4 partitions – each one separated from the other by a ribbed line. At the end of the lace pattern, it grows into a beautiful large ruffle.
This is a very quick and fun knit - I promise, you will not be bored.
The original shawl is worked in Line (Sandnes Garn) held double! It is a gorgeous yarn in cotton & linen, and it gives a lovely texture to the shawl. The lacework in particular has VERY beautiful stitch definition.
I used circular needles US 8 (5 mm), but feel free to experiment as to what works best for your hands.
The yardage is listed to 10 skeins of Line, but due to difference in gauge, you might consider having an extra skein standing by.
HAPPY KNITTING
NOTE: The oceangreen sample in the first photos is worked in different yarn and all info is listed as a Project: Sassy Semiramis Sage
